American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Showcases Rare Antique Finds – From Evel Knievel’s Jacket to a Vintage Pepsi Machine
Mike Wolfe, star of American Pickers, has revealed some of his most unique antique store finds, including an iconic Evel Knievel jacket and a vintage Pepsi machine.
Wolfe, 58, owns Antique Archaeology, which has locations in LeClaire, Iowa, and Nashville, Tennessee. The U.S. Sun obtained exclusive photos from the Nashville store, showcasing several must-see collectibles.
Rare Finds on Display
One of the standout items is a jacket and helmet worn by legendary stuntman Evel Knievel. A tag attached to the jacket reads:
“This was the last jacket Evel wore for a promotion. The jacket was picked in Nashville, TN. Check it out in Season 13, Episode 13: ‘Good and Evel’.”
Another highlight is a vintage Pepsi-Cola machine, available for $2,200. Customers can also find a yellow metal Pepsi-Cola sign reading “Say Pepsi, Please,” priced at $1,200.
Among other collectibles, Wolfe has a 1952 custom mini bike, designed to resemble an Indian Chief motorcycle. It was originally built for Randy Lou Reynolds, who began racing at just five years old.
Also featured is a Purina Chow antique sign, valued at $9,000, alongside smaller items such as:
Early toy motor – $75
1942 Ohio license plates – $100
Store Merchandise and Customer Reactions
Aside from antiques, Antique Archaeology offers a range of branded merchandise, including pins, magnets, shot glasses, keychains, bumper stickers, shirts, hats, mugs, thermometers, and more.
However, some customers have expressed disappointment regarding the store’s inventory. A visitor to the Iowa location shared on Google Reviews:
“The staff was friendly, but most of the store was just branded merchandise. I expected to see more unique antiques like those featured on the show.”
Another reviewer echoed similar sentiments about the Nashville location, commenting:
“The store is nice to visit, but prices are a bit high. There aren’t many actual antiques available—mostly just souvenirs.”
Despite mixed reviews, fans can still catch Mike Wolfe’s latest picks on the upcoming season of American Pickers, premiering soon.
